Security Standards
Worried about security? Don't be. We've taken many steps to ensure the highest security possible so that everything you do is private and secure. Plus, you can rest assured that we won't sell your name and personal information to another party.

Systems Security and Monitoring

Central Depository and Settlement Corporation has adopted a combination of the following systems security and monitoring measures for online transactions:

  • Firewall systems, Advanced Encryption Standards AES as the cryptographic algorithm standard for data encryption, anti-virus protection to detect and prevent any forms of illegitimate activities on our network systems.
  • Periodic security reviews of our systems by our Internal System Audit team as well as external security experts.
  • Vigilant monitoring of online activities for suspicious logins and static data amendment requests.

We also take every effort in ensuring collaboration with major vendors / manufacturers to keep abreast of information security technology developments, for possible and future implementation.

There are steps you can take to further ensure your privacy. In order for you to use Internet Login facility safely, your browser must be equipped with 128-bit encryption. Encryption takes all the information from us, and encrypts it or "jumbles it up" to make it unreadable.

This unreadable information then passes to your computer where it will be decrypted and able to be read.

Once you have signed up for online login and begin using it, the standard security measures you use with your SMS service should be followed. You will select a password for our online services, and like your SMS service, you should never give it out to anyone.

You are responsible for keeping your online password, account numbers, personal identification information, and other account data confidential.

We will not be liable for any loss suffered by you or any third party arising from and in connection with the use of the Electronic Services where such loss is attributable to the negligence or willful default of the investor.

Data Confidentiality and Data Integrity

To ensure data confidentiality and integrity, all information transmitted over the Internet is encrypted using the AES-128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol from SSL Pro Authority.  SSL is a secure way of transferring information between two computers on the Internet using encryption.
