Alice Kilonzo

Alice Kilonzo is a distinguished banking executive with over 28 years of experience in leadership roles across top-tier international and pan-African banks, including Barclays Bank, Citibank, and Ecobank Group.

Her expertise encompasses strategic planning, revenue growth, trade finance, business development, risk management, and budgeting. She has built a reputation for driving performance and transformation across diverse markets in East, and Southern Africa. Alice is highly adept at stakeholder engagement, having collaborated with regulators, public sector entities, corporate and SME clients, legal and audit firms, and financial institutions. Her breadth of boardroom experience is equally significant, having served in governance roles including Independent Non-Executive Director, Executive Director, and Non-Independent Director across various institutions.

She holds a Master of Arts in Economic and Social Studies from the University of Manchester, UK, a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Politics with International Relations from the University of Warwick, UK and a Certificate in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors U.K. Her academic foundation, combined with extensive executive experience, gives her a holistic understanding of governance, policy, and finance.

Alice is an independent Director representing Public Interest in the CDSC board.
